A man of fierce intellect and compassion, John had a profound impact on many people.

John Kaye’s death to cancer in May 2016 was incredibly sad and shocking. Our thoughts are with his partner, family and friends.

John was a tireless champion for public education and TAFE, renewable energy and worker’s rights. He was an incredibly hard working and effective member of the NSW Legislative Council and a luminary in the NSW Greens.

I was in awe of his knowledge and energy.
