Waterlily Park equipment launch

Member for Ballina Tamara Smith will speak this Sunday at the official launch of new equipment for Waterlily Park at Ocean Shores.

 

“I was very pleased to give the Waterlily Park project $50,000 in funding through the Community Building Partnership grants programme and I am proud to support the Waterlily Playscape Committee and the Ocean Shores community in their efforts to improve this wonderful recreational space.”

“There really is a great sense of community in Ocean Shores and this event is a lovely way to celebrate the progress that has been made so far.”

The launch will be held at 1 Yamble Drive, Ocean Shores on Sunday, April 30, 1-3pm. Facepainting, games and performances will be part of the fun on the day.

The launch was originally due to take place on April 2 but had to be postponed due to flooding and bad weather from Cyclone Debbie.
